Issaquah Chamber crowns new royal family
March 30, 2009 · Updated 5:06 PM
The Issaquah Chamber of Commerce crowned its new royal family at the chamber's annual gala dinner on Thursday night.
Joyce Adams (Queen Mum), Brandon Lorain (King), and Renée Walden (Queen), will spend the next year as the public face of the chamber at special occasions, such as the welcoming of new members, and events, including the "Salmon Days" festival, and "Chocolate, Wine and all that Jazz" in July.
The Queen Mum, King and Queen work closely with the Ambassador Committee, the volunteers who act as the first point of contact for new members, and are involved in staging events and activities.
