Sammamish seeking volunteers

Sammamish officials are looking for volunteers on two projects:

•Planting: Sammamish in partnership with the Washington State Native Plant Society and the Sammamish Garden club is looking for volunteers for Saturday, Sept. 27 and Saturday, Oct. 4. The event begins at 9 a.m. both days. Volunteers must be able to lift 20 lbs. For more information, contact dsanders@ci.sammamish.wa.us or call 425-295-0556 to register.

• The Sammamish Arts Commission is looking for a handyperson to help with the tiled bus shelter. Some tiles need to be replaced, and all tiles must be resealed. Contact dsanders@ci.sammamish.wa.us or 425-295-0556 with questions or if you are able to help with this event.
