Local bar Vino Bella and the Issaquah Arts Commission hosted the first in a series of regular open mic poetry reading events on Tuesday night, Jan. 20.

Chris Hill and Nancy Talley were just two of the patrons who read pieces of their poetry on the night.

The poetry reading gigs will be held on the third Tuesday of the month — sign up from 6.30 p.m. It’s open to those aged 21 and over only.
