John C. Porche, was born Oct. 14, 1949 in Tulsa, Okla. to Clyde and Fabiola Porche.

He was raised in Arcadia, Calif. and attended Holy Angels, Don Bosco and Cal Poly-Pomona.

He passed away Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2009 at home in Sammamish. He was 59.

John worked for Costco as a computer programmer and developer of information technology. He moved to this area in 2000.

John was a member of Mary, Queen of Peace, Catholic Church in Sammamish where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Legion of Mary.

Survivors include his father, Clyde Porche of Claremore, Oklahoma; sister, Iliana Thach of Pasedena, California; niece, Holly and nephew, David. A memorial mass was held on Tuesday, Feb. 3 at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Sammamish. Friends are invited to sign the family’s online guestbook at www.flintofts.com.
