Sammamish resident Kevin Wickersham was last month awarded the Boy Scout’s highest rank: Eagle.

Wickersham, who is a senior at Seattle Preparatory School, is a member of Troop 641 at St. Louise Parish in Bellevue.

He has been a Scout since joining Las Vegas Cub Scout Pack 99 as a Tiger Cub, prior to relocating to the Northwest with his family in 2002.

Wickersham has served in a variety of positions within his troop, including senior patrol leader, and is currently assistant Scoutmaster.

Wickersham has his career goals set high — he wants to become an emergency room doctor, and has received many first aid certifications trough his scouting activities.
