John Curley, who recently announced his candidacy for the Sammamish City Council, is having an open house to allow neighbors to meet and talk about the issues facing Sammamish and East King County.

A press release issued last week stated “This is your chance to meet the candidate and his family in his own home, for a relaxing weekend afternoon of conversation about the future of Sammamish.”

“I have been interested in politics all my life, and in my life at KING-TV, I have interviewed public officials at the top to the grassroots level, and always thought I could do my part to make government more responsive to real people,” Curley wrote. “Stop by and say hi. We’ll have fresh bake homemade chocolate chip cookies and even a bouncy house for the kids.”
