On Saturday, September 12, the Issaquah History Museums will hold the sixth annual Hometown Issaquah Reunion, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Issaquah Depot, 50 Rainier Boulevard N.

As in years past, the event will provide an opportunity for longtime residents, former residents, and pioneer descendents to meet and socialize.

The reunion will also offer workshops designed to help reveal and preserve your own personal history.

There will be workshops on memoir-writing, basic genealogy, and preservation of photos and heirlooms.

There is a nominal fee for the workshops, but guests are welcome to drop in at the Depot any time between 11:15 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. for free coffee and conversation.

The Hometown Issaquah Reunion was first held in 2004, providing a time and place for people to share family stories and memories of Issaquah.

Call 425-392-3500 or e-mail info@issaquahhistory.org for more information about the workshops, and to register.
