Family Volunteer Day is an annual day of service, held on the Saturday before Thanksgiving.

Volunteering as a family provides quality time for busy families, strengthens communication, bonds and positively impacts local communities across the nation.

The City of Sammamish invites you to take part in their volunteer event for Family Volunteer Day, from 10 a.m.- 1 p.m., Nov. 21, to put the final touches on the Native Plant Garden at the Lower Commons Park. Weeding, planting and mulching, rain or shine.

Dress for the weather, wear boots, bring gloves. Please RSVP to Dawn Sanders: dsanders@ci.sammamish.wa.us
