All Sammamish residents are welcome to attend Kumbha Mela, a celebration of Indian culture, at the Vedic Cultural Center this weekend. The annual celebration will begin on Saturday, and continue through Wednesday, Sept. 1, with a colorful variety of interactive displays demonstrating traditions of Indian life and folklore, concerts and dance performances. This is a great opportunity to experience India on the Eastside. Admission is free to all the events and performances, and everyone is welcome to attend.
