The two Kent men suspected in the robbery of the El Abuelo convenience store on Front Street pleaded not guilty last week at their arraignment.

King County Prosecutor’s spokesman Dan Donohoe said that Santos Castillo, 41, and Juan Eras-Duque, 36, will have their case setting on June 2.

The two men were each charged with three counts of armed robbery in connection with the crime, which occurred on May 3 at the store at 147 Front Street.

According to charging documents, the suspects displayed silver handguns, robbed two employees and a customer of cash and jewelry and threatened to come back and kill the victims if they called police.

Both men are being held without bail on immigration holds at the King County Jail in Seattle.
