Reporter photographer Mark Lowry snapped this shot of a rescue taking place in Fall City on Thursday, Jan. 8. King County Sheriff’s Office helicopter Guardian Two rescued a family of five from their house that was surrounded by flood waters in the Fall City area. Those rescued included a married couple in their 80s, their daughter and their grandchildren. Also rescued was the family’s mixed breed German Shepherd and Pit Bull dog, but not before he bit the Sheriff’s rescue deputy four times! Details of the rescue, courtesy of the King County Sheriff’s Office.
