The King County Sheriff’s Office have released a sketch of a man suspected of abducting a 10-year-old girl in Klahanie on Monday afternoon, Jan. 19.

The suspect is described as being about 30 years old, six feet tall with a thin build, and dark skin.

His is described as having dark, shoulder length hair.

According to police, the girl was grabbed by the man outside her home.

She had been riding around the neighborhood and returned to the home to use the bathroom.

The man threw her bike into the back of his older model small, blue pickup, before putting the girl into the cab and driving off.

The girl said in an interview with King 5 news on Wednesday that the man then drove for almost 2 miles, down SE Issaquah - Fall City Road.

During that time the girl hit and kicked the man, screaming loudly to attract attention.

The girl said that lessons she received at school on what to do if you are abducted helped her stay calm and do her best to escape.

The man then pushed her out of the truck and put her bicycle on the sidewalk before leaving.

The girl went to a nearby house and used the phone to call her mom.

Several schools in the area have sent letters home to parents, encouraging children to walk in groups and giving stranger danger tips.
