Anna Lawther, of Sammamish, was part of a huge contingent of athletes (and people just looking for some fun in the sun) from the area who took part in the Issaquah Triathlon at Lake Sammamish State Park on Saturday.

Although there were great performances to be found everywhere, of particular note were Johnna Koenig and Robin White, who finished third and fifth respectively in the women’s sprint triathlon.

Molly Hurd finished second in the women’s duathlon.
