A 16-year-old Eastlake High School student was hospitalized to be treated for an alcohol overdose after emerging from a full day of classes drunk.

According to the Sammamish Police report, the female student was picked up at the school by the sister of a friend, after the friend decided the 16-year-old was in no condition to catch the bus home.

Allegedly, the girl had been drinking rum and coke, in class, during the day.

The driver and the girl’s friend called 911 after the 16-year-old began vomiting blood, during the trip home.

She was immediately transported to Overlake Hospital for treatment.
