The “One Meal - One Hope Challenge” has provided many thousands of meals for the hungry and the homeless during Thanksgiving.

A charity fund was established by the Issaquah Christian Church (ICC) to help fund this mission, and in the last 6 years ICC has raised over $42,000.

Mike Johnson, representing the Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission and the Men’s Shelter, will be speaking at 9:30 and 11 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 1, at the ICC, at 10328 Issaquah-Hobart Rd SE.

The Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission also has programs for drug and alcohol abuse, free legal and dental for the homeless, clothing and blankets during the cold months, and a long list of assistance for those in need.

Anyone interested in donating to this fund to assist the Union Gospel Mission please call ICC at 425 392 5848 or drop off a check to the church office.
