Nearly two months after the completion of the high school football season and Skyline quarterback Jake Heaps continues to reap the rewards of a stellar high-school career.

The future Brigham Young University quarterback was named to the Parade All America High School football team as one of top seven quarterbacks in the nation, and listed as the Top Quarterback in the nation by the publication.

In his three years as a starter, Heaps led the Spartans to three state titles with 40–2 career record, while passing for 9,196 yards and 114 TDs.

Heaps was the only player from Washington to make the list of top players. The list of elite athletes will appear in the Jan. 31 edition of Parade Magazine.
