Shaw is a fourth generation Eastside native. His family were early homesteaders who worked the log and shingle mills in Issaquah, Redmond and the Upper Snoqualmie Valley from 1910 onward. A print media advertising consultant for a number of local community newspapers since 1986, Shaw's main focus has been on the local retail, major, national and real estate advertising categories. He has been special projects manager for Horvitz Newspapers (the former King County Journal) since 2002 and for Sound Publishing since 2006. Locally, Bill volunteers for the Issaquah Sister Cities Commission and is a member of Myrtle Lodge 108 in Issaquah and Lodge Alba 315 in Seattle. |

She brings more than 20 years of newspaper background in both editorial and advertising and was a publisher of her own community newspaper for about 15 years. She understands the importance of a strong partnership between our readers and advertisers and hopes they find the Reporter as a tool of communication as well as their source for community news. |

At the start of 2012, he moved over to the assistant editor position where he covers business and community news.
