The giving tree returns
December 19, 2011 · Updated 9:05 AM
The Goodfellas Sandwich Shop in Bellevue is again raising presents for the Issaquah Food and Clothing Bank through their now famous Giving Tree. Steve Sanelli and his family have put up a giving tree in their deli in the Pacific Corp. building on 13555 S.E. 36th St.
The tree contains tags from the Issaquah Food and Clothing Bank. Each tag described a family or family member and their holiday wish. People can come by take a tag from the tree, fill the wish written on the tag, and receive a $5 off coupon towards Goodfellas Food. You can donate food and clothing, including dry and canned goods, toiletries, frozen food, clean clothing and accessories, small household appliances in good working order, linens, baby furniture, toys and books.
Volunteers are always needed at the food and clothing bank, and cash donations are welcome.
