Six at Eastside Catholic named valedictorians and salutatorians | Update

Note: Eastside Catholic has revised the list and included Rachel Whitehead as a valedictorian

Six students at Eastside Catholic School have been valedictorians and salutatorians for the Class of 2011. The class will graduate on June 5.

They are:

Valedictorians

Alex Gallant, 18, Sammamish, Arizona State University, 4.0

Jacob (Jake) Gober, 18, Sammamish, Baylor University, 4.0

Miles Linde, 18, Woodinville, Washington State University, 4.0

Nicholas Mahan, 18, Bellevue, University of Notre Dame, 4.0

Rachael Whitehead, 17, Sammamish, Considering University of Washington and McGill University, 4.0

Salutatorian

Matthew Mahan, 18, Bellevue, University of Notre Dame, 3.99

“The six students who represent this class as their valedictorians and salutatorians are using their individual God-given gifts to be leaders in their chosen area, whether it’s on the speech and debate floor, on the piano or on the athletic field," said Eastside Catholic High School Principal Tom Lord. "I look forward to seeing where these students will go in college and afterward.”
