Eastside Catholic duo win International DECA championship

Eastside Catholic seniors Lexi DiJulio and Carly Webster won an International DECA championship for their Chapter Awards Project this past weekend, beating 45 teams from around the country.

Webster is a Sammamish resident.

Eastside Catholic had seven total students who qualified for International DECA in Salt Lake City, Utah. Five of those students are still competing through May 1, with more opportunities to win championships.

In all, 14,000 high school students, advisors, businesspersons and alumni gathered April 28 - May 1.
