Sammamish's Concerts in the Park begin tonight

The Spyrographs begin Sammamish's 12th annual Concert in the Park series at 6:30 p.m., tonight.

Sammamish's annual Concert in the Park series begins at 6:30 p.m., tonight at Pine Lake Park with a performance by the Spyrographs.

The group describes themselves on their website as a "tight 5 piece band that plays the best Spy Pop, Surf and Bosa Nova hits of the 1960s."

This is the 12th year the city has hosted concerts.

Tonight's show is the first of eight in July and August.

People are encouraged to bring a picnic blanket or low-backed chair. High chairs will need to sit towards the back. No alcohol is allowed in the park and food provided at each event by the Sammamish Rotary and Sammamish Kiwanis.

Overflow parking is available at the Pine Lake Park & Ride. A free shuttle is provided.

July 26 – Craig Terrill Band (Former Seahawk plays classic rock)

Aug. 2 – Stacey Jones Band (Indie blues rock)

Aug. 16 – Cloverdayle (modern country)

Aug. 23 – Sammamish Symphony Orchestra (American classics)

Aug. 30 – Cherry Cherry (Neil Diamond tribute)
