About 60 people, mostly children filled a pathway leading up to the Issaquah Community Center July 17 with chalk art.
Its an event Anusuya Chopra looks forward to with her two girls each year, she said. “It’s a fun way to spend the day.”
Her daughter, Anumita, spent a few days deciding what to draw for the competition. It’s an combination of her love for art and her elementary school days playing with the medium.
“It can be creative,” she said. “It’s just fun.”
