Volunteers sought for Nightmare at Beaver Lake
September 14, 2012 · Updated 4:10 PM
The ninth annual Nightmare At Beaver, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Sammamish, is searching for volunteers in acting, casting, construction and dozens of other roles.
The 11-night haunted forest at Beaver Lake Park and pavilions is done in partnership with Scare Productions and the City of Sammamish Parks and Recreation.
Sign up now, and plan to attend an upcoming orientation on Sept. 22 or 23.
Volunteers work as actors, set constructors, security and crowd control personnel, theatrical make-up artists, van drivers, and costumers. This fun and safe event for families and young people takes place in Sammamish in October. The event raises scholarship funds for Plateau high school seniors.
