Salmon Days Festival wins more awards

Last year's "007, Spawn, Just Spawn" themed Issaquah Salmon Days Festival won three silver Pinnacle Awards at the International Festivals and Events Association on Sept. 10.
The festival received three second place Silver Awards in its category of $250,000 to $749,000 budget range. The awards were from "Best Festival T-Shirt," "Best Festival Pin" and "Best Festival Hat."

This year's Salmon Days takes place Oct. 4 and 5, and the theme is "What a Wonderful Whirl."
