Look out for the Easter Bunny in the Issaquah Highlands this weekend; he'll be hiding eggs all over the Village Green Park for the annual Egg Hunt from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday. The free event will feature three age-specific egg hunts for children through fifth-grade, and is sponsored by three Highlands churches: Alathia Community Church, Icon Church, and Mosaic Seattle Church. In addition to the egg hunts, the event will feature pictures with the Easter Bunny, carnival games and face painting, a live performance by the Issaquah High School Jazz Band, a petting zoo, an inflatable slide and bounce house, a coloring contest, and an exhibition performance by MK Ballet. Tickets for the various activities cost $1 each, or $5 for unlimited activities. Residents are encouraged to walk or bike to the event because parking is limited. Check www.issaquah-reporter.com this weekend to see photos from the event-filled day.
