Joe and Kathy McKeown, of George’s Bakery in North Bend, manned their stall at the Sammamish Farmer’s Market on Wednesday, May 20. The opening day of the market was blessed by good weather, with the sun breaking through the clouds just minutes before it was due to open. The opening day also featured a special performance by the Eastlake High School Drumline. The Sammamish Farmers Market will be held every Wednesday for the next few months, at City Hall on 228th Avenue Southeast. More info: www.sammamishfarmersmarket.org/.
