Community Brief - Poker fundraiser

The Lake Sammamish Elks Lodge, along with the Issaquah Sister Cities Commission and the American Moroccan International Exchange, will host a Texas Holdem’ Poker fundraiser at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 26 at the Elks Lodge, located at 765 Rainier Blvd. N. in Issaquah.
Proceeds from the poker tournament will be used to help bring two artists to Issaquah from Issaquah’s sister city, Chefchaouen, Morocco, during Issaquah Salmon Days, Oct. 3-4.
Registration starts at 5 p.m. the day of the event – all participants must be registered before the 6 p.m. start time. The buy-in is a $40 donation, and donated prizes will be awarded.
