After nearly eight months of countless drives and preparation, on Feb. 27 the Hope Festival served over 600 families with 300 volunteers from more than five high schools.

Over 10 local nonprofits were involved on the day of the event, which included having their booths distributing information and opportunities available to our low-income guests. Countless generous monetary donations from local businesses and citizens were received to support the Hope Festival.

We worked with over 25 incredible supporting organizations and sponsors. Along with these sponsors, the festival would not have been possible without the help of many unique individuals that deserve to be recognized.

These individuals include Mary and Bob Trask, Cori Waters, Deb Sogge, Son Michael Pham, Bernie and Lisa Lucking, Beata Baker, Kim Indurkar and Allison Gubata. Also vital to creating such an uplifting and impactful event were all of the service providers, photographers and entertainers who generously volunteered their time.

With the immense help of volunteers, donations and our supporters, the Hope Festival was a success. The event allowed each guest who walked away from the festival with a greater sense of love than when they had walked in, while providing the volunteers with a continuing sense of hope.
