Master Chorus Eastside celebrates America’s constitution

The Master Chorus Eastside will hold a concert themed around America’s Constitution on July 1.

Master Chorus Eastside’s “Celebrate America” concert returns once again to ring in Independence Day, with the creation of America’s Constitution as this year’s theme.

Issaquah’s historic Pickering Barn forms the backdrop for this combination of patriotic songs, sing-alongs, and the all-American music we know and love, punctuated by historical readings from and commentary about the remarkable document that helped build the United States.

“The story behind the writing of the Constitution is fascinating,” says MCE’s conductor Dr. Linda Gingrich in a press release. “We tend to take it for granted, but knowing something about the uncertainties that almost derailed its creation certainly makes me, at least, appreciate it all the more.”

Event organizers recommend locals get their tickets early, as the event tends to sell out quickly. The concert is scheduled for July 1 at 3 p.m in the Pickering Barn, 1730 10th Ave. NW, Issaquah.

For tickets, locals can call the Master Chorus Eastside office at 425-392-8446, or visit Brown Paper Tickets at https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/3112945.
