For arts-loving Eastsiders, having tickets to Teatro ZinZanni is a bit like Christmas-come-early.

ZinZanni’s latest offering, “When Sparks Fly” still has the same prepare-to-be-giddy quality, only it’s a spooky Halloween scene (complete with Frankenstein and “Rocky Horror” touches) rather than Christmastime that comes to mind.

Between the Broadway-caliber song-and-dance, the cat-woman contortionist, and gourmet dinner, one would have to work very hard to resist the glittering powers of this seductive dream world.

The production stars Ukrainian-born illusionist Maestro Voronin who manages to steal the show in an alluring display of smoke and mirrors without ever uttering a single word. This world-class magician, an original ZinZanni cast member, returns to Seattle for his 23rd performance with the dinner-theater.

Joining Voronin in the Belgian spiegletent is famed aerialist Dreya Weber. Celebrated for her work conceiving and choreographing pop-sensation P!nk’s buzz-worthy aerial performances at the 2010 and 2014 Grammy Awards ceremonies, she also contributed aerial support to the artist’s recent “The Truth About Love” tour.

The cast also includes knock-out performances by ZinZanni staples, Duo Madrona on trapeze, Elena Gatilova, the delightful Joe De Paul, opera diva Kristin Clayton and contortionist puppet Svetlana.

The five-course menu is another spectacular event in itself.
