‘There’s something for everyone!’

The Downtown Issaquah Association offers entertainment for all-ages during Wine and Art Walk.

The Downtown Issaquah Wine & Art Walk is in full swing as they prepare to celebrate Italian heritage with numerous musical performances in April.

The event is free and open to all ages so the Downtown Issaquah Association (DIA) invites locals to grab their friends and family to come down for a night of art, music and tasting. Wine tasting requires a ticket.

Attendees can sip wine and enjoy fine art, crafts, live music and “Artists in Action” as the galleries, merchants and sidewalks come alive to welcome friends and neighbors.

The ticket includes 10 tasting tokens and a $5 voucher towards the purchase of wine.

Musical Performances include: Andrea Algieri Duo who offer expressive Italian lyrics with hook-laden melodies; The Rigatones!, a lively and engaging ‘strolling’ duo; Tony LaStella, of Rat Pack Crooner; Michelina Nardone, of Italian Opera; Lloyd Chisholm Trio who feature Jazz and storytelling; andCool School Jazz Ensemble a student group.

Wineries include Don Carlo Vineyard, Barrel Springs, Long Cellars, Masquerade, Wilridge and Sol Stone, Love that Red, Estrin Estates, Nardone Winery and Capri Cellars. Beer tasting is provided by Rogue Brewery.

The DIA asks attendees to help reduce waste by bringing their own glass. Check in starts at 5 p.m. in the historic Shell Station on 232 Front St. North.
