Xhale Vapor N Smoke hosts local kratom educational event

The local shop will host the free event in Issaquah on June 28 from 7 to 8 p.m.

Xhale Vapor N Smoke’s Issaquah shop invites locals to an in-store for a special “kratom” educational event with medical professional guest speaker on June 28 at 7 p.m.

Attendees will learn about the plant’s history, strains, uses and health benefits based on first-person experiences. Locals will have their questions answered, get free samples, and chat with community members.

Mitragyna speciose, also known as kratom, is a tropical evergreen tree predominantly grown in the botanical regions of Southeast Asia. The plant is in the same family as coffee, and its leaves offer medicinal benefits due to its unique alkaloid profile, according to an Xhale press release.

People have used kratom leaves for a highly flexible and diverse range of purposes, including mood enhancement, pain relief, and cognitive stimulation.

Xhale aims to clear up misinformation and walk through the facts about kratom’s safety, side effects and medicinal uses.
