Girl talk: Make your health a priority

As the season’s festivities recede and the New Year is upon us, our thoughts naturally turn to the future. It’s a time to reflect on the changes we want to make and resolve to follow through on those changes. For many, this means making New Year’s resolutions and January is a great month to start working on your healthy commitments for the coming year. To assist you in reaching your health goals, NaturoMedica doctors Naomi Bryant ND, Tammy McInnis ND and Jill Monster ND will host an afternoon seminar to answer questions regarding women’s health. PMS, perimenopause, menopause and beyond. • Hormone Replacement Therapy - Is it right for me? • What are bio-identical hormones? • Heart Health - Men and women - not created equal. • Cholesterol - What do all those numbers mean? • Digestive Health - Good Bugs/Bad Bugs. • Food Allergies/Sensitivities - How a healthy gut can lead to a healthy body. • Healthy Bones - Calcium may be overrated. • Stress - The cortisol connection to overall health - it’s a weighty issue. • Preventive Health - Are vitamins and supplements really necessary?
