The Issaquah Highlands will host Highlands Day 2010 this Saturday, June 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The 12th annual event begins with a kids and dogs parade around Village Green, and features booths hosted by local clubs and businesses.
There will be pony rides, food, prizes and a chance to dunk one of the Issaquah Highlands staff members in the IHCA dunk tank.
Children can also meet the weed-munching goats, ride a train and play carnival games.
To volunteer for the event, or to find out how you can participate in the parade, contact Indu at IHV2010@gmail.com.
Residents should note that Park Avenue will be closed between 25th Avenue N.E. and 30th Avenue N.E. on the day of the event, and traffic will be rerouted.
