Man robs Newcastle bank

Sheriff's detectives are looking for this man who robbed a bank in Newcastle at 12:20 p.m. last week, Friday, March 18 about at Key Bank, 6917 Coal Creek Parkway SE.

Sheriff's detectives are looking for the man who robbed a bank in Newcastle last week.

The incident occurred on Friday, March 18 about 12:20 p.m. at the Key Bank, 6917 Coal Creek Parkway SE.

The robber went up to a teller and gave her the robbery note. He did not show or imply that he had a gun. The teller gave him money from the till and he left the bank on foot. Responding Newcastle officers and Sheriff's deputies were not able to locate the man.

The man was described as a white male, about 6’ tall, thin build, wearing a black jacket with a brown collar, black baseball cap, and light-colored jeans.

If anyone recognizes the suspect they should call the King County Sheriff's Office at 206-296-3311 (24 hours) or 9-1-1.
