364 motorists 'nailed' for drinking

A total of 364 motorists in King County were stopped and arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs (DUI) during the latest Drive Hammered, Get Nailed campaign from Aug. 17 through Sept. 3.

Statewide, law enforcement officers arrested 1,603 drivers for DUI.

Last year in King County, during the same time period, officers on routine and extra patrols arrested 452 people for DUI.
