Issaquah man escapes injury in four-car accident

An Issaquah man, Pyotr M. Vishnevskiy, of Issaquah, escaped injury Friday night on I-5 when a car he was driving was involved in a four-car accident.

According to the Washington State Patrol, a car driven by Nicholas M. Anderson, 33, of Des Moines struck another vehicle in lane four of the freeway, causing it to strike another car. That car, in turn, struck a third car. Car number four, in which Vishnevskiy was driving, then also struck the third car.

Anderson fled the scene on foot and later was located at a residence and then booked into the King County Jail.

A Bellevue man, Igor O. Babaev, 59, a passenger in Vishnevskiy’s vehicle, also escaped injury.

The accident occurred at 8:32 p.m.
