Issaquah police are investigating the report of a stabbing, which they now believe was a hoax.
Officers responded to the Front Street Market, 80 Front St. S., at about 6 p.m. Tuesday, according to a police log.
Responders to the call did not find any victim or any evidence that a stabbing actually took place, Cmdr. Stan Conrad of IPD said.
The case is now being investigated as a hoax, which could carry charges.
