A 23 year old Kent man was arrested by Issaquah Police on Monday, May 11, for investigation of “Aiming or Discharging a Firearm” and “Reckless Endangerment,” following an incident in Issaquah last month.
Both charges are misdemeanors.
The alleged incident occurred on April 17 in the 7200 block of the Renton-Issaquah Road.
According to police, a witness called 911 after seeing one man in a group allegedly fire four shots into the air from a vehicle before driving away.
The investigation led to the police discovering the identity of the suspect and arresting him.
According to police, the man said he was showing off and did not fire the gun at anyone.
The gun was turned over to police. It is now being held as evidence.
