Summer repaving projects in Issaquah get underway as the calendar flips to July. The city's 2009 maintenance overlay project begins this month, with completion scheduled for October. Beginning July 13, crews will start repaving SE Issaquah-Fall City Road from E. Lake Sammamish Parkway SE to SE 58th Street. Lane closures are scheduled between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays. The project is expected to last two weeks. The city will also be repaving the downtown business district parking lot, between NE Alder Place to E. Sunset Way. Work will take place at night, between 10:30 p.m. and 9 a.m. on weekdays. The start date is unknown. For more information contact the Public Works Department at 425-837-3470.
