News Brief - 405, 90 roadworks

This weekend’s planned lane closure on northbound I-405 in south Bellevue is another in a month of widening work that includes new lanes, new pavement and new striping.
Friday, Aug. 14:
• Crews complete installation of two new overhead freeway signs on I-405 between I-90 and SE Eighth Street to better direct drivers to Bellevue exits and beyond.
Saturday, Aug. 15 – Monday, Aug. 17:
• Crews repave I-405 from 112th Avenue SE to SE Eighth Street with new test sections of quieter asphalt
Monday, Aug. 17
• Crews open a new northbound lane from I-90 to SE Eighth Street.
If it rains or there are have cooler-than-average temperatures, the work will be postponed until Aug. 22 – 24.
