The rain held off and the sun came out briefly to bless Liberty High School's homecoming parade on Friday afternoon.

With parents and friends of the school lining the road between Maywood Middle School and Liberty, the students put on a colorful and energetic display, which included several floats, and performances from the drill, pom and cheer squads.

A group of students from the school's Japanese club greeted spectators with "Konnichiwa" - Japanese for hello or good afternoon.
