A 53-year-old Sammamish man was lucky to avoid injury when somebody threw a rock the size of a softball through his living room window on Feb. 10.
According to the report by Sammamish Police, the occupant was at home at the time, and heard the breaking glass, but at first assumed his pet had knocked something over. He later found the rock on his floor.
Police believe the thrower would have had to have been standing close to the window, as the rock travelled a further 12 feet into the home after breaking the glass.
The cost of the damage is estimated at $350.
