Sammamish man dies in remote cabin

A 60-year-old Sammamish man, Daniel Kruse, died in a cabin in a remote area along the Columbia River, north of Vantage, on Sunday morning. According to the Yakima Herald, Kruse awoke early on Sunday at his cabin and complained of difficulty breathing, and stopped breathing soon after that, despite efforts by his 28-year-old daughter to revive him.
