The city of Sammamish is requesting community input on how to develop its land acquisition strategy and will host a public meeting on the topic from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday at City Hall.

“In addition to developing new parks and trails, the city is also focused on preserving natural resources, wildlife corridors and the community’s tree canopy,” the city stated in a press release. “In part, this strategy has been prompted by growing concerns in the community about rapid residential growth.”

Residents who are not able to attend will be able to submit feedback through the city’s Virtual Town Hall on land acquisition, which is available online through the city of Sammamish website.
