Couple, son found dead at Sammamish home in double murder-suicide | UPDATE

Update: On Monday afternoon, the King County Sheriff’s Office announced that detectives believe that the adult son killed his parents and then himself in the double murder-suicide that occured on Saturday evening in Sammamish.

King County detectives are investigating what they believe is a double murder-suicide after police found the dead bodies of a couple and their adult son at a Sammamish home on Saturday night.

Deputies went to the home in the 24000 block of NE 30th Place shortly after 7 p.m. to check the welfare of a man who did not show up for an appointment earlier in the day, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office. Officers found the house locked but could see three bodies lying on the floor through an open window.

Deputies forced entry into the home and found two men and a woman dead on the floor, with a gun near their bodies. Police believe the bodies are of a couple and their adult son who live at the house.

As of Reporter deadline, the King County Medical Examiner had not yet determined the cause of death or identified the deceased.
