King County: Important elections-related dates

The King County Elections office posted the following important dates for the upcoming General Election:
• Oct. 3-5: military, overseas and out-of-state ballots mailed
• Oct. 4: Last day to change your address, register online or mail in registrations to vote on Nov. 4; also, Saturday office hours from 9 to 3 p.m.
• Oct. 13: Voters' pamphlets mailed
• Oct. 15-17: Absentee ballots mailed
• Oct. 18: Saturday office hours, 9 to 3 p.m.
• Oct. 20: Last day for new voters to Washington to register in person at elections office until 6 p.m.
• Nov. 3: Last day to apply for an absentee ballot for the Nov. 4 General Election
• Nov. 3: Final day to file as a write-in candidate for the Nov. 4 General Election.
• Nov. 4: General Election
