Issaquah man injured in fatal crash on SR 410

An Issaquah resident was injured in a car crash that left one dead Friday afternoon on State Route 410 near milepost 33.

An Issaquah resident was injured in a car crash that left one dead Friday afternoon on State Route 410 near milepost 33.

A Bremerton driver of a red, 2014 Jeep Cherokee crossed over the double yellow lines traveling westbound and hit three oncoming motorcycles, according to the Washington State Patrol.

All vehicles came to rest on the right side of the eastbound lane.

Bothell resident Thomas Finken, 60, was dead at the scene. Finken, on a 2003 Harley Davidson FLTRI, was wearing his helmet.

The Issaquah driver, Bruce McLeod, was also wearing his helmet and riding a 2003 Harley Davidson FLHTI motorcycle. McLeod, 66, was injured and taken to Harborview Medical Center.

The third man, North Bend resident Christopher Littlejohn, was not injured. Littlejohn, 55, was driving a 2005 Kawasaki VN2000 motorcycle and was wearing his helmet.

The Bremerton driver, 73-year-old Henry Germer, was injured and transported to Harborview. It is unknown if he wore his seat belt.

The accident closed the eastbound lane on Route 410 for six hours.

Washington State Patrol are still investigating the crash.
