Families gathered on the grass on a sunny Tuesday afternoon in East Sammamish Park to kick off KidsFirst!

KidsFirst! offers weekly children entertainment every Tuesday at 1 p.m. starting July 11. The last event occurs on Aug. 29.

On Tuesday, children enjoyed Leapin’ Louie, “a master of physical comedy, trick roping, fancy whip cracking, juggling, unicycling; a virtuoso of new vaudeville and alternative circus,” according to Leapin’ Louie’s website.

The events are open to the public. Events are geared toward toddler through elementary age children.
