April 8

SUSPICIOUS: An officer called a complainant concerning suspicious activity near the intersection of Southeast Black Nugget Road and Highlands Drive Northeast. The woman had seen a man wearing blue latex gloves as he looked in multiple mailboxes. She said he seemed to be in a hurry and had driven away in a white Subaru.

BURGLARY: At 2:06 p.m., a burglary was reported at a location in the 300 block of Rainier Blvd. N. A $1,258 pressure washer was reported stolen.

FRACTURE: At 3:39 p.m., a window was reported damaged in the 1000 block of Greenwood Blvd. SW at a loss of $300.

SHOPLIFTER: At 10:37 p.m. in the 1400 block of Highlands Drive NE, police arrested a 49-year-old Bellevue man for shoplifting. Nearly $160 of alcohol was recovered from the suspect.

April 9

A KIND OF ANT: At 2:29 a.m., officers responded to a possible fight between minors at the park and ride in the 1000 block of 17th Ave. NW. One of the boys was seen urinating and an officer contacted his father. The father requested his son be taken to the police station, where he would pick him up.

GTA: At 10:59 p.m., a motor vehicle theft was reported in-progress in the 500 block of NW Gilman Blvd. A white 2001 Lincoln Navigator was reported stolen at a loss of $2,000.

April 10

DOMESTIC: At 11:49 a.m. in the 4700 block of W. Lake Sammamish Parkway SE, a 26-year-old Issaquah man was arrested domestic malicious mischief and assault.

FINDERS KEEPERS: A woman found multiple children’s books on the trail in the 300 block of Rainier Blvd. S. and wanted to know if she could give them away. An officer said that was fine.

SICK BURN: At 1:50 p.m., police responded to a report of a garbage can set on fire in the 300 block of Front St. N. in a case of apparent malicious mischief. The garbage can’s plastic lid was reported damaged.

STICKY FINGERS: At 5:27 p.m. in the 1800 block of 10th Ave. NW, a 31-year-old Federal Way man was arrested for the attempted theft of a hard drive from a store.

April 12

VEHICLE PROWL: At 9:52 a.m., police responded to a reported theft from a car in the 1700 block of 25th Walk NE. A window was damaged by an unknown suspect to steal earbuds and sunglasses, at a loss of $650.

GRAFFITI: Graffiti was reported in the 1800 block of NW Sammamish Rd. Cost for cleanup was estimated at $250.

TRAILER: A Wells Cargo brand trailer valued at $4,000 was reported stolen from the 400 block of SE Bush St.

DUI CRASH: At 5:08 p.m. at the intersection of Front Street North and Interstate 90, police investigated a collision. They arrested a 59-year-old Mercer Island man for driving under the influence. His reported blood alcohol level was 0.305, more than three times the legal limit.

April 13

PARTED OUT: At 5:18 p.m. in the 1600 block of Newport Way NW, $500 of car parts were reported stolen from the 1600 block of Newport Way NW.

UP ON BLOCKS: At 9:24 p.m. in the 2200 block of Squak Mountain Loop SW, vehicle tires and rims valued at $2,400 were reported stolen.

April 14

POSSESSION: At 10:23 a.m. in the 1300 block of Fourth Ave. NW, police arrested a 23-year-old Issaquah man for drug possession.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: A lock was reported damaged in an unsuccessful burglary in the 300 block of SE Andrews St.

LI’L LARCEN: Employees of a gas station in the 100 block of E. Sunset Way reported a 9-year-old may have taken some lollipops and run off. He left his bicycle behind and it was kept at the gas station for safekeeping.

BURGLAR GOT BACK: Backhoe buckets valued at $3,900 were reported stolen from the 700 block of NW Gilman Blvd.
